2015 for Tyrolean State Museum Ferdinandeum at büro münzing designer + architekten bda
Creative Direction Prof. Uwe Münzing
in collaboration with Birgit Meßmer, Vivien Hecht and Petra Maisenbacher
Drawing on numerous exhibits donated by private individuals, the Tyrolean Provincial Museum spotlights the years prior to 1915 until the end of the First World War in a show covering 1000m². The narrative approach taken in staging the exhibition places a deliberate emphasis on personal perspectives.
The exhibition design is based on square timber and panels with changing principles of geometric order, formulating the dramaturgical realisation of eight scenarios. Visual communication, media design, interior design and materials are designed as a unit in order to express a comprehensive three dimensional narrative.
